Amaya Gushiniere is a born and raised Chicago native. She began photography as a small child taking photos on her smart phone before receiving her first professional camera at age 13 and became a small freelance photographer. Eight years later, Amaya molded the love of photography and created the business, Photos by Amaya.

Amaya’s focus is to capture the science and beauty in her  photography while creating a truly authentic and light environment. Her captivating photos tell a variety of stories in a millisecond while Photos by Amaya, exudes high levels of professionalism on the business end.

Outside of her love for photography, Amaya loves animals, skateboarding, woodworking, playing the ukulele, electric guitar, and keyboard.

Amaya currently attends University of Michigan as a software engineering major and Hispanic studies minor.
